Research with documented failures Research proof of concept; assessment reliability not established
Pronunciation reliability research
An assessment experiment investigating where AI pronunciation classification can fail and what still needs testing.

- 01Test a recording
- 02Inspect the result
- 03Find failure cases
- 04Record limitations
What the source
tells us.
Sampled evaluator and laboratory source includes recorded synthetic-test findings: TH confused with F, silence classified as a consonant and unreliable uncertainty handling.
Current limits
- Documented failure findings must remain visible beside any explanation of the experiment.
- Adult microphone and child-speech validation were not established in the reviewed findings.
- Synthetic repeatability is not evidence of dependable assessment, accuracy or educational benefit.
- Voice, likeness and research-media rights need review before a demonstration; do not use child recordings for marketing without the required consent process.
